SA Defends Lowest Score Ever In T20 World Cup. Beats Bangladesh Again

South Africa has achieved a thrilling 4-run victory over Bangladesh in the T20 World Cup as it defends the lowest score in the history of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

The African team has defeated Bangladesh for the fourth consecutive match in the T20 World Cup, only 4 matches have been played between the two so far. This is also South Africa's 9th consecutive win in T20 International against Bangladesh.

South Africa won the toss and chose to bat at the Nassau County Cricket Stadium. The team scored 113 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. Chasing 114 runs, the Bangladeshi team could only score 109 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. 

Leg spinner Keshav Maharaj was the hero of this victory. He defended 11 runs in the last over. Maharaj also took 2 wickets in this over. He took a total of 3 wickets. Heinrich Klaasen was the player of the match. He played an innings of 46 runs in 44 balls.

Notable that Bangladesh has not been able to defeat South Africa in T20 International so far. Both teams have played 9 matches.

After winning the toss and batting, Heinrich Klaasen scored 46 runs in 44 balls for South Africa. Whereas, David Miller contributed 29 runs. Both of them made a crucial partnership of 79 runs in 79 balls for the 5th wicket and helped the team cross the 100 mark. Tanjit Hasan Shakib took 3 wickets. Taskin Ahmed got 2 wickets. Rishad Hussain also got a success.

In the run chase, Tauhid Hridoy scored the highest 37 runs for Bangladesh. Mahmudullah scored 20 runs. Keshav Maharaj took 3 wickets, while Kagiso Rabada and Enrique Nortya took 2-2 wickets each.
