Seniors Like Manmohan Singh, LK Advani, Hamid Ansari Castes Their Vote From Home

This time, senior elderly politicians of the country have taken advantage of the system of 'voting at home for senior citizens'.

The Election Commission has provided the facility of voting at home till May 24. 

This time Delhi seems to be far ahead in using the home voting facility.

Delhi State Election Commission office said that many senior politicians including former Vice President Hamid Ansari, former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani, former Union Minister Dr. Murali Manohar Joshi exercised their franchise in front of the Commission team.

Delhi Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) office said that  voting at home facility has been provided for elderly voters and persons with disabilities (PWD). It will continue till 24th May.

1409 elderly voters voted at home in two days

According to the Chief Electoral Officer office, this facility is being provided from Thursday. For two days i.e. Thursday and Friday, 1409 voters in seven parliamentary constituencies of Delhi voted from the comfort of their homes.
