Shootout Broke Out Between 2 Groups Manipur. 3 Including Security Personnel Died

During the Swachhata Abhiyan, a shootout broke out between two groups in Ukhrul town of Manipur. During this shootout, three people including a Manipur Rifles personnel on duty died. Let us tell you that this dispute started on Wednesday regarding the cleaning of the plot, after which firing took place between the two groups.
After this incident, in view of the tense situation and as a precautionary measure, prohibitory orders were imposed after the clash and mobile internet services were shut down in the city for a day. Let us tell you that 5 other people have also been injured in this firing incident.
Giving information, the officials said that the two groups between whom the dispute took place, both belong to the Naga community, although both belong to different villages and both claim the land as their own.
Additional security forces are also being sent to the spot to bring the situation under control. After the clash started, the people involved in the incident opened fire. During this, three people died and 5 people were injured.
The deceased have been identified as Warinmi Thumra, Riliwung Honge and Silas Jingkhai. Officials said that Thumra was a soldier of Manipur Rifles, who was deployed there to maintain law and order. Two seriously injured people have been referred to Imphal hospital for treatment. Other people are being treated at the district hospital in Ukhrul.
Let us tell you that after this incident, three MLAs of Tangkhul Naga have appealed to the people of the village to maintain peace. They have also appealed to solve these issues through dialogue and love. Ukhrul Sub-Divisional Magistrate D. Kamai cited a letter received from the Superintendent of Police, in which the social work organized by Thavaijav Hungpung Young Students Organization and the objection to it by the Hunfun Village Authority in Hunfun area was apprehended.
The Sub-Divisional Magistrate said in his order that such disturbances can seriously violate public peace. Also, it can endanger human life and property.
