SIBLAC Of Sikkim Expresses Support for the 14th Dalai Lama on His 89th Birthday

On July 5, the Sikkim Bhutia Lepcha Apex Committee (SIBLAC) issued a heartfelt message extending support and deep respect for His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, reaffirming solidarity with his lifelong mission of peace, compassion, and harmony.

SIBLAC welcomed the Dalai Lama’s recent statement about continuing the sacred institution of the Dalai Lama, pledging full backing for his decision, which they believe serves all sentient beings.

Marking his 89th birthday on July 6, SIBLAC offered prayers for His Holiness’s long life and good health, praising his teachings of love, tolerance, and truth that continue to inspire millions amid global unrest.

The organization emphasized the Dalai Lama’s global relevance, highlighting his efforts in promoting non-violence, interfaith respect, environmental consciousness, and human rights, particularly in the Himalayan region and Tibet.

Calling him “a teacher to the world,” SIBLAC lauded his commitment to preserving Tibetan culture and spiritual heritage, and concluded with a prayer for his continued guidance and blessings:

 “May the teachings of His Holiness continue to shine. May we all walk the path of peace and kindness that he has shown us.”
