Silent March Staged in Agartala Demanding Punishment of Murderers of Club Secretary

Sensational Bharat Ratna Sangha club Secretary Durga Prasanna Deb alias Vicky murder incident about to pass one month. Police yet to arrest the main accused Raju Burman in this incident. 

Even though several other people involved in this incident including his brother Rakesh Barman have been arrested, but the police is unable to find any trace of the main accused.

Local residents of Bharat Ratna Sangha club area staged a silent march demanding exemplary punishment for those involved in the murder. 

On Sunday the march  started from the front of the club and traveled around the various roads of the city Agartala. 

Club secretary Chandan Chakraborty and other members of the club were present in this silent march.

Facing the journalists, the present Secretary of the club, Chandan Chakraborty, said that the police have not yet arrested Raju Burman, the main accused in the murder of Durga Prasanna Deb. 

Chandan Chakraborty said that the club is taking all measures to expel the main accused from the club forever and leave the area.

Notable that the murder incident took place in the evening near Hati Para in Sal Bagan area of ​​Agartala on April 30, where Durga Prasanna Deb was shot dead from close range.
