Site Identified For A Super Speciality Hospital: Tripura CM Manik Saha

"There is no greater joy than the joy of doing something for people. Place of the Doctors is after God. But doctors must not run after money."

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said this while speaking in a program organized on the occasion of the 19th Foundation Day of Tripura Medical College. 

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that he give importance to the  quality education.

 Just passing the exam is not enough. Students must be educated in quality education. . GB Hospital currently has advanced medical facilities. A site has been identified for setting up a super speciality hospital in the state of Tripura so that no patient from the state has to go outside the state. Meetings were also held with super specialist doctors. Some good doctors of GB Hospital go to a private hospital and provide medical services. So a meeting was held with the hospital authorities. They have been told that doctors from state government hospitals cannot be provided medical services in their hospitals" he said.

"They have been asked to bring doctors from outside the state for the scheme" he mentioned.

A check of Rs 30,000  was handed over to the Chief Minister for the Chief Minister's Relief Fund on behalf of Tripura Medical College in this program
