In a decisive operation against an emerging counterfeit currency network, law enforcement authorities apprehended a युवक identified as Amir Hossain (24), a resident of Bardoal Munshibari under Sonamura Police Station in Sepahijala district. He is the son of Jalil Khandaker.
Acting on specific inputs, police intercepted the accused at the Seven Heavens Shopping Mall in the Sonamura Bridge Chowmuhani area, where he was allegedly caught in flagrante delicto while attempting to transact using counterfeit currency.
