Spain Entered in Euro Cup Final 2024

Lamine Yamal became the youngest goal scorer in the European Football Championship. With his help, Spain defeated France 2-1 and entered the final of Euro 2024. France took an early lead with Randall Kolo Muani's header from Kylian Mbappe's cross in the eighth minute but could not take advantage of it. 

For Spain, 16-year-old Yamal scored the equaliser in the 21st minute. Four minutes later, Danny Olmo scored the decisive goal.

Yamal said after the match, "We were in a difficult situation after conceding the goal in the beginning. I just got hold of the ball and put it in the goal properly. I am very happy. I don't think too much. I just enjoy my game and try to help the team. I am very happy to score the goal and the team's victory."

Spain is eyeing a record fourth title. It will face England or the Netherlands in the final in Berlin on Sunday, a day after Yamal's 17th birthday. France coach Didier Deschamps said, "We knew they were a great team and they proved it. We scored early but after that Spain made things difficult for us."

Spain has been the best performing team at Euro 2024. It is the only team to have won all its matches and scored 13 goals, equalling the Spanish record for most goals scored at a European Championship and one goal less than France's record set in 1984. 

Spain coach De la Fuente gave a stern warning to England and the Netherlands, saying his team would give their best in the final. He said, "I am sure the final will be completely different. It will be against an opponent who will inspire us to do our best. Even though it doesn't sound good, there is still room for improvement."
