T20 WC: Alert of Heavy Rain, Flood at India-Canada Venue

In the T20 World Cup 2024, the match between India and Canada is to be played on June 15 at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium in Florida. 

Even before this, an alert of heavy rain and flood has been issued in the city of Florida for three days. Due to this, fans are demanding the ICC to shift the match somewhere else.

Actually, the remaining three matches of Group-A are to be held in Florida. On June 12, there was heavy rain in South Florida. 

Many videos of waterlogging in the city are also going viral. After this, the city's meteorological department has issued a flood alert for three days.

The match between USA and Ireland is on 14th June at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium in Florida. If USA wins this match, it will make it to the top-8. India and Canada will play a match on 15th June. Pakistan and Ireland will play a match on 16th June. 


If USA does not win its match, then this victory will be necessary for Pakistan to qualify.

According to the National Weather Service of Miami, 30 kilometers away from the Florida Stadium, heavy rain has occurred in the last 24 hours. There is a 60% chance of rain in the match between America and Ireland on June 14, 86% in the match between India and Canada on June 15 and 80% in the match between Pakistan and Ireland on June 16.

If it rains in all three matches, then all teams will get 1 point each. After this, Pakistan will get 3 points. Whereas, America will qualify with 5 points.

India has won all three matches in the league stage of the T-20 World Cup so far. The team has qualified for the Super-8 with 6 points. Apart from India, Australia from Group-B, West Indies from Group-C and South Africa from Group-D have also made it to the Super-8.
