T20 WC: India Have To Beat Bangladesh Today For Semi Final

The Super 8 match is to be played between India and Bangladesh in the ICC T20 World Cup today. Team India has won its first match while Bangladesh had to face defeat. The Indian team would like to secure a ticket to the semi-finals by winning today's match, while Bangladesh will try to stay in the race.

There is a shadow of rain on this match and due to this the fun may be spoiled. All eyes are on the ICC T20 World Cup Super 8 match between India and Bangladesh. In the last few years, Bangladesh has emerged as a team giving tough competition to India on the field. The match between these two Asian teams is under the shadow of rain. Rain can spoil the fun of the match to be played in Antigua. The sky was cloudy even a day before the match.

The match between India and Bangladesh is to be played at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua. The weather is not good there. Rain can hamper the fans' desire to watch the full match. The last Super 8 match played here between Australia and Bangladesh was also disrupted by rain.

According to Weather.com, there is an 18-24% chance of rain during the match. The match is expected to be affected by rain, but not so much that the match cannot be completed.

The Indian team, which has been performing well so far, will now face Bangladesh in the Super Eight stage. Even though the Indian team has an edge over the opposition in terms of statistics, the Rohit Sharma-led team will have to avoid taking Bangladesh lightly at any cost. The Indian team, riding on the Ashwamedhi chariot of victory, will hope that its star batsmen return to form.

The Indian team, a strong contender for the title, performed brilliantly in the first match of the Super Eight stage against Afghanistan. There is not much gap between the other two matches, so captain Rohit Sharma will be hoping that his star players return to form.

Virat Kohli and Rohit have not been able to give a strong start to the team so far. A big innings has not come out of the bat of these two batsmen so far. Rohit and Kohli will be desperate to play a big innings in this tournament and considering the challenge ahead, the Indian opening pair will have a good chance to return to form.

Left-handed batsman Shivam Dubey was included in the team to hit sixes in the middle and death overs but he has not lived up to the expectations yet. The form due to which he was given a place in the Indian team in the IPL has not been seen yet. He scored an unbeaten 31 runs in the group match against America, but India won due to the efforts of Suryakumar Yadav. If he fails once again, the team management may decide to bring in Sanju Samson. It was good to see Hardik Pandya returning to batting form in the match against Afghanistan. India can field the same combination in bowling. Left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav got a chance for the first time against Afghanistan and he proved to be effective.

Indian bowlers are looking in good rhythm led by fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, Indian bowlers have performed brilliantly. After the group stage, in the Super Eight match against Afghanistan, Indian bowlers also performed well and succeeded in putting pressure on the opposing team while defending the target. Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya are also supporting Bumrah well, while wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who was included in the playing-11 for the first time in the T20 World Cup against Afghanistan, also impressed.

India's only goal in West Indies is to win the title and a good performance against Bangladesh will be the next step in that regard as they face Australia on June 24. Bangladesh batsmen have disappointed so far and they will have to win at all costs to keep the hopes alive. They are missing power hitters in the team. The poor performance of openers Liton Das and Tanjid Khan has also increased their problems. The challenge before Bangladesh batsmen is to face Jaspreet Bumrah who has been in excellent form so far and his economy rate has been 3.46. Bangladesh captain Nazmul Hussain Shanto had said after the defeat against Australia, "It is important for the top order to score runs. Hopefully the bowlers will also return to form. Our goal is to perform the best against India."
