T20 World Cup Super-8 Match: India Beats Afghanistan By 47 Runs

The Indian team has defeated the Afghanistan team by 47 runs in the first match of the Super-8, T20 World Cup. In this match, the Indian team batted first and gave a target of 182 runs, in response to which the Afghanistan team could score only 134 runs. 

Jasprit Bumrah and Suryakumar Yadav performed brilliantly for the Indian team. It is because of these players that Team India has been successful in registering a win. 

Team India has registered its first win on the ground of Barbados. Earlier, the Indian team had played two matches here and both times the team lost.

Afghanistan batsmen could not stand in front of Indian bowling and got out. Jasprit Bumrah showed the way to the pavilion to both the openers. Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 11 runs and Hazratullah Zazai scored 2 runs. 

Kuldeep Yadav, who played his first match in the T20 World Cup, sent Gulbadin Naib to the pavilion. Azmatullah Umarzai was dismissed by Ravindra Jadeja. He scored 26 runs. Mohammad Nabi scored 14 runs. Jasprit Bumrah took the most wickets for India. He has taken three wickets. He gave only 7 runs in his four overs. 

At the same time, Arshdeep Singh also took three wickets. He took the wicket of Noor Ahmed on the last ball. Kuldeep Yadav took two wickets, Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel took one wicket each.

The Indian team had a very bad start in the match against Afghanistan. When captain Rohit Sharma was out after scoring just 8 runs. After this, Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant tried to stay on the wicket for some time, but these players could not play big innings. Kohli contributed 24 runs and Pant contributed 20 runs. 

Suryakumar Yadav played an excellent innings and because of him Team India has been able to reach a big score. Hardik Pandya supported him well. Surya scored 53 runs in 28 balls, which included five fours and three sixes. Hardik scored 32 runs in 24 balls. Fazalhaq Farooqui and Rashid Khan took 3-3 wickets for Afghanistan.
