TBSE HS, Fazil Exams Begins at 62 Centres

The Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education commenced on Wednesday, with candidates of the Higher Secondary and Madrasa Fazil streams appearing for the English paper on the inaugural day.

The examination began at 12 noon across designated centres throughout the state.

This year, 32,404 students are enrolled for the Madhyamik examination, comprising 14,629 boys and 17,375 girls.

In addition, 155 candidates are appearing for the Madrasa Alim examination, including 129 boys and 26 girls.

The Madhyamik examination is being conducted at 145 venues operating under 69 centres statewide.

Simultaneously, 26,411 students are participating in the Higher Secondary Examination, of whom 12,246 are male and 14,164 are female. A further 85 candidates are sitting for the Madrasa Fazil Examination, including 58 males and 27 females.

The Higher Secondary and equivalent examinations are being held across 62 centres encompassing 99 venues in the state.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Manik Saha extended his warm felicitations to all examinees. In a message shared on social media, he described the board examinations as a pivotal milestone marking the commencement of a new chapter in students’ lives.

Urging them to proceed with confidence, resilience, and an optimistic outlook, he expressed hope that their diligence and perseverance would culminate in success and lay a strong foundation for a promising future.
