Team India Gears Up For The Test Series Against Bangladesh

Team India sweated it out in Chennai on Friday before the Test series against Bangladesh. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has tweeted photos of the team's practice. In this, Indian captain Rohit Sharma is seen with the rest of the team players and coaching staff.

Team India has to play the first Test here from September 19. Veteran batsman Virat Kohli reached Chennai from London today by a 4 am flight. A video of him leaving the Chennai airport has surfaced, in which Kohli is seen leaving the airport amid tight security.

Earlier on Thursday night, skipper Rohit Sharma, pacer Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul and wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant were seen boarding the team bus.

Virat Kohli will play Test matches after January 2024. He played the last match against South Africa in Cape Town. Talking about home grounds, Kohli played his last match against Australia in Ahmedabad in March 2023. After that, he went on a break for personal reasons due to the birth of Bet Akay.
