Both the batsmen did not give Australia any chance to take wickets in the entire session.
But in the third and final session of the day, Rishabh Pant lost his wicket by playing a bad shot on Travis Head's ball and from here Australia found their way to victory. The Kangaroos won the match by taking all the remaining 7 wickets before the end of the final session.
In this innings, apart from Jaiswal and Pant, no batsman from India could touch the double digit mark. Pat Cummins and Scott Boland took 3-3 wickets, while Nathan Lyon took 2 wickets. Mitchell Starc and Travis Head also took 1-1 important wickets.
