There Is No Political Intervention On Police Action : Tripura CM Manik Saha

"Police used to be used politically in the past. But at present there is no political pressure on the police."

This is what Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha claimed in a review meeting in the presence of high-ranking police officers responsible at the state and district levels on Monday at the Tripura Police Headquarters.

On this day Mr. Saha said that the BJP government is continuously working to maintain law and order in the state. Due to the efforts of the government, the level of crime has reduced a lot compared to 10 years ago. Efforts should be made to ensure 100% safety and comfort of the general public during the festival days. So he ordered the police officers to work by maintaining transparency.

On this day, he also said that there was a time when the police did not work even if they reported the case. It was seen that if the FIA ​​was filed, it would later be dismissed in the court. 

He ordered to find all the old case files and re-start the investigation. Also, the number of traffic police in the state is low. Traffic congestion is increasing in the city. The state government has made efforts to control this traffic jam.

According to him, the opposition is making the issue of subscriptions of various clubs. The opposition wants to prove that there is no rule of law in Tripura. But defense administration is in the field to stop the tyranny of Chanda. Police officials have been instructed in this regard
