Tipra Motha To Submit Memorandum To Governor Demanding Implementation Of The 125th Amendment

Pradyut Kishore Debbarman, founder of Tipra Motha has demanded that the village council elections of ADC be held quickly. 

Mr. Debbarman said this in a press conference after a meeting presided over by Tipra Motha President Bijay Kr Hrangkwhal at Palace Compound in Agartala on Saturday.

He said, it has been decided in the meeting to hold the village council elections quickly, and a block-wise memorandum will be given to the governor on November 14 demanding immediate implementation of the 125th constitutional amendment bill. This memorandum will later be given to District Magistrate and Sub-Divisional Magistrate level as well.

Meanwhile, talking about the village committee elections, Pradyut Kishore Debbarman said that the Tipra Motha party has not yet taken any decision on whether to fight jointly with the BJP. However, he demanded that the agreements with the central government should be fulfilled.
