Tribal Betelnut Farmer Shot Mistiriously in Ambassa Forest

Betelnut farmer shot  mysteriously in the forest. The incident took place on Sunday in the forest of Dhanchhara area under Ambassa police station in Dhalai Distric of Tripura. 

The injured identified as Santhithang Halam. On Sunday, he went to the forest of Dhanchhara to collect betel nut. At that time miscreants shot him in the back from behind.

He was seriously injured on the spot. After receiving the information family members rushed to rescue Santhithang Halam and took him to Kulai Hospital. 

From there he has been referred to GBP Hospital. He is currently undergoing treatment at GBP Hospital. 

The injured tribal said he did not see who fired the three shots behind him. And he has no enmity with anyone. 

It is known that the police have started investigating the mysterious incident.
