Tribal Hostel Burned Into Ashes in South Tripura

Tribal boys Hostel burnt into ashes in a massive fire at around 7 am in the Tuesday morning. The incident took place in Shilachari under South Tripura District.

Aaround 7 am in the morning, the people of Shilachari area saw the fire.

Immediately they informed the fire department but allegedly it took a long time that fire personnel reached at Shilachari from Korbook. 

The entire boys hostel was burnt to ashes by that time. Luckily the boys hostel students were in coaching at that time, for which they were not harmed. 

However, it is known that their furniture, books and documents could not be saved. 

"It is not yet clear about the fire. It may be from short circuit  of electricity. We are investigating the matter" said an official of fire department.

The hostel suffered extensive damage in this incident. Widespread chaos and panic erupted in the area due to this incident
