Tripura’s Bidisha Majumdar Shines With National Teachers’ Award

On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Bidisha Majumdar, a dedicated science teacher from Udaipur Haryananda English Medium School in Tripura’s Gomti district, has scripted history by receiving the National Teachers’ Award from President Droupadi Murmu.

At the grand ceremony in Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, Majumdar was among 45 exceptional teachers from across India chosen for this year’s honour. Each recipient was presented with a certificate, a silver medal, and a cash prize of ₹50,000.
