Tripura: CM Manik Saha Paid Last Respect To Late CPIM Leader Samir Chakraborty

Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha paid his last respect to late CPIM leader Samir Chakraborty, going at his Jagharimura residence in Agartala.

Last respects were paid to the deceased CPIM leader Samir Chakraborty at Bhanu Ghosh Smriti Bhavan and CPIM State Headquarters on Friday.

Notable former CPIM leader Samir Chakraborty passed away on Friday. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha visited the deceased's house and paid his last respects. 

Besides, BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharya was also present there.

On this day, the Chief Minister said that CPIM leader Samir Chakraborty was a noble personality. He also said that the he  had a family relationship with them. 

Paying his last respects on this day, the Chief Minister expressed deep condolence to the bereaved family and pray for eternal peace of the departed soul. 

On this day, at the state headquarters of CPIM, opposition leader Jitendra Choudhury said that "Samir Chakraborty was one of the front leader during student movement of Tripura. His contribution was behind the formation of student federation. Later he became a member of the party. Deepest condolences to his family and wishes for eternal peace of the departed soul.
