Tripura CM Thanks PM Modi As Tripura Will Be Benefited For PMGSY IV

The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday approved the proposal of Department of Rural Development for implementation of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana – lV during the financial year 2024-25 to 2028-29.
Financial assistance will be provided for construction of 62,500 km of roads and construction or development of bridges on newly connected roads to provide new connectivity to 25,000 eligible unconnected households. The total cost of this project will be Rs 70,125 crore.
As a result, Tripura will also benefited. It will include road connectivity in 220 remote areas of the state.
Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this.
In his social media platform CM Dr Manik Saha mentioned that:
"I thank Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi Ji for this gift to #Tripura in the time of crisis.
PMGSY IV to include road connectivity to remotest 220 habitations of Tripura. All weather roads will play major role in socio- economic development and transformation of the remote tribal areas. While connecting habitations, the nearby government educational, health, market, growth centers will also be connected.
