Tripura CM Vows Stronger Healthcare Infrastructure

Manik Saha, the Chief Minister of Tripura, has reiterated his government’s firm commitment to enhancing the state’s healthcare infrastructure, stressing that there will be absolutely no compromise when it comes to providing quality medical services to the people.

In a conversation with ANI on Sunday, the Chief Minister said the government is persistently working to modernise healthcare facilities and elevate the overall standard of medical services across the state. He emphasised that ensuring accessible and efficient healthcare remains one of the administration’s top priorities.

Saha noted that the government has been focusing on upgrading hospitals, strengthening primary health centres, and ensuring the availability of skilled medical professionals along with modern medical equipment. He added that several new initiatives will continue to be introduced to further improve healthcare infrastructure and deliver better treatment facilities to residents across Tripura.

Earlier, the Chief Minister also spoke about the electoral strategy of the Bharatiya Janata Party for the upcoming elections to the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC). He stated that although the party values its alliance partners, its objective is to contest all 28 seats in the council polls.

Saha remarked that while the BJP believes in the principle of coalition politics and does not disregard its allies, decisions regarding seat allocation will depend on the party’s strategic considerations. “Our target is to contest all 28 seats, and we will not allow any external force to dominate us,” he asserted.

The Chief Minister made these remarks while attending a joining programme organised by the BJP’s Karamchara Mandal at Dhumachhara in Dhalai district on Saturday.
