Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Visited Srinagar Border Haat in Sabroom

Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu  visited Srinagar border haat in Sabroom under South Tripura District on Tuesday.

He also visited Palatana power plant in Udaipur under Gomati District. On his arrival in Srinagar, Governor  was welcomed by District Magistrate of South Tripura district, Smita Mall. 

The Governor was given a guard of honor by the South Tripura District Police. DIG BSF Anil Sharma and South Tripura District Superintendent of Police Ashok Singh were also present during the inspection of the border hut. 

The Governor was felicitated with floral tributes by the Market Association of Border Huts.

Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu visited Srinagar border haat and interacted with the buyers and sellers from India and Bangladesh. 

He interacted with District Magistrate of South Tripura district, Feni district officials of Bangladesh, BSF DIG and Customs officials at the Common Facility Centre. 

Later speaking to the reporters, the governor said that the sellers of both countries have been selling various products at the border market for a long time. He came on this visit to experience the border haat. He said that the buyers and sellers of both countries should keep the border market clean.

In the afternoon Governor Indrasena Reddy Nannu visited the power generation plant of OTPC at Palatana in Udaipur. 

When the Governor reached there, Gomati District  Magistrate Samit Lodh, OTPC General Manager S Nambadripad and other officials welcomed the Governor. Guard of Honor was given to the Governor by Gomati District Police. 

In a meeting held at the conference hall of the OTPC administrative building, the General Manager and officials briefed the Governor about the Palatana Power Project
