Tripura Govt's Initiative: 5 Lakh Saplings Planted in 5 Minutes

Mega Tree Plantation Program was held on Friday under the initiative of the Forest Department of Tripura Government. In Tara Nagar area of Mohanpur under West Tripura District , 5 lakh saplings were planted on the side of the national highway in 5 minutes.
On this day, the tree planting program was first inaugurated through a ceremony on the side of Tara Nagar Street.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha was present in this program. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that there are many things to learn from nature. The balance of nature is very important to us. Danger when nature loses its balance. Just as blood has no religion, trees also have no religion. Pollution levels in Tripura state are much lower than in Delhi. But the forest bandits are destroying the forest. The current government will not accept this under any circumstances.
The Chief Minister directed the Forest Minister to arrest the forest bandits by any means. Humans cannot survive without trees. Likewise, trees cannot survive without humans. Because plants provide oxygen to humans. Again, plants absorb carbon dioxide
