Tripura Left Front Calld 12 Hour Strike On Sunday Protesting Poll Candidate Murder

Tripura Left Front- called 12 hour bandh protesting political violence centering the upcoming Panchayat election and killing of CPIM Candidate namely Badal Shill on Sunday.

Addressing a press conference on Saturday Left Front convenor Narayan Kar said that:

Badal Shill the left front nominated CPIM candidate of Rajnagar block under South Tripura District in the upcoming Panchayat polls was attacked during nomination submission on July 11 by BJP backed miscreants. On the same day in the evening when he went to a nearby shop, miscreants once again attacked on him with iron rod and sharp weapons. They hit on Badal Shill's head"

" Later he was admitted to GBP hospital but on Saturday morning he succumbed to the injuries"

"BJP once again trying to make this Three-tier Panchayat poll farce organizing such terror"

"We appeal to the common people of this state to come forward against BJP and join the movement"

However Kar said that emergency services and movement of flight passengers are excluded from this bandh.
