Ukraine Carried Out The Biggest Attack On Moscow

Ukraine has carried out the biggest attack on Russia's capital Moscow since the start of the war in 2022. Ukraine has targeted Moscow with 34 drones. Due to this attack, many flights had to be diverted from three major airports in Moscow.

The Russian Defense Ministry has also issued a statement regarding the attack. The ministry said that it has shot down 34 Ukrainian drones and foiled the attack. Russia has called this attack by Ukraine a terrorist attack and has talked about retaliation.

Ukraine also attacked a Russian chemical plant Ukraine claimed on Saturday that it had targeted a chemical plant in the western Russian city of Tula late Friday night. Ukraine's Special Operations Force SBU said that it had used 13 drones in the attack. After the attack, there was an explosion at the chemical plant and a cloud of smoke engulfed it.

According to SBU, ammunition is made at this plant for the Russian army. After the attack, orange smoke was seen coming out of the plant. According to CNN, a source said that the Aleksinskaya thermal power plant has also been damaged in the attack. A 110 KV power transmission line has also been damaged in this attack.

This chemical plant is located 200 km south of the capital Moscow.

Ukraine attacked Russia with more than 150 drones on 1 September. This was the first time in the two and a half year long Russia-Ukraine war that Ukraine had used such a large number of drones simultaneously against Russia. Ukraine also carried out drone attacks on Russia's capital Moscow.

According to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city was attacked by 11 drones. An oil refinery and a technical room were targeted in these attacks. After the attack on the oil refinery, there was an explosion in it. After this, thick smoke was seen rising.

According to Russian officials, Ukraine launched 158 drone attacks in 15 provinces.

Ukraine wants to attack further inside Russia. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky now wants to attack further inside Russia. According to news agency Reuters, he is also pressuring the US for help in this.

Zelensky released a video in September saying that Russian attacks can be stopped only when Ukraine targets Russian airfields and military bases. We are discussing this with our allies every day. We are trying to persuade them for this.

However, the Russian President said that if NATO allowed Ukraine to attack deep inside Russia, it would be considered NATO's involvement in the Ukraine war.
