Ukraine Carried Out The Biggest Drone Attack on Moscow

Ukraine has carried out the biggest drone attack on Moscow, Russia, in which dozens of houses were destroyed.

After this incident, 50 flights had to be diverted, while Russia claimed to have shot down at least 20 drones. It is clear from this that the tension between the two countries is increasing.

Dozens of houses were destroyed in the area. Due to this attack, about 50 flights had to be diverted from Moscow airports. Attacks in areas around Moscow can create problems for President Putin.

Russia is the world's largest nuclear power and the Kremlin said that it shot down 20 Ukrainian drones flying over the areas around Moscow. Russia further said that it destroyed 124 drones fired from Ukraine to other parts of Russia.

In this attack, houses in the area around Moscow have been damaged but there were no major casualties and one person died in the attack.

After the Ukrainian attack, three of Moscow's four airports were closed for more than six hours and about 50 flights had to be diverted. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the media that this drone attack is another proof of the reality of Ukraine's political leadership.

He said, "There is no way to link night-time attacks on residential areas to military action. The Kiev regime is constantly demonstrating its reality. They are our enemies and we must continue special military operations to protect ourselves from such actions".

On the other hand, Russia also fired 46 drones over Ukraine, but the Ukrainian army said that it shot down 38. The Ukrainian attacks caused major damage to high-rise buildings in the Ramenskoye district, causing fire in several flats. A 46-year-old woman died here and three people were injured.

Recent weeks have seen Ukrainian forces moving into eastern Russia and launching attacks inside Russian territory. Last month, on 6 August, Ukrainian forces launched several attacks on Russia's western Kursk region and have also launched major drone attacks on Russian territory
