Unfenced Border Issue To Be Discussed In NEC Meeting: Tripura CM

A meeting of the North Eastern Council led by Union Home Minister will be held in Tripura on various developmental issues in the North Eastern region. 

The meeting of the North Eastern Development Council (NEC) is going to be held for the first time since the formation of the BJP coalition government in Tripura. 

The meeting will be attended by the Chief Ministers of seven states including Tripura and Governors. 

Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha said this while facing the reporters on Monday.

He also added that DONER Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia will also attend the two-day meeting on August 31 and September 1.

'issues like unfenced border of Tripura on India-Bangladesh to be discussed in the NEC meeting' said the CM Manik Saha.
