Unhealthy Food: Administrative Raid in Restaurants in Agartala. One Closed

There is lots of allegations regarding foods and other services against various hotels, restaurants of capital Agartala.

Officials of Food Safety and Legal Metrology Department, Government of Tripura raided various well-known restaurants in city Agartala on Tuesday. 

They witnessed widespread irregularities during the raids. The kitchen of Abhishek Restaurant, an well-known restaurant of the city has been temporarily closed for serving unhealthy food. 

Besides, food samples have been collected, an official informed.

Sadar SDM has raided several restaurants including Abhishek Restaurant, The Park Line and Mithai in Agartala city on this day. 

An official said that Abhishek restaurant's food is prepared in unsanitary environment. Also, it is made with old kitchenwares. They are serving unhealthy food
