US-Iran War Completes Day 3, Trump Warns of Strike

As the Israel–US–Iran conflict entered its third day, US President Donald Trump stated in an interview with CNN that Washington has not yet initiated a full-scale military assault on Iran, cautioning that the most formidable strike remains forthcoming. He underscored that the United States commands the world’s most powerful military apparatus and stands prepared to deploy it decisively.

Trump also conveyed pronounced dissatisfaction with Britain over what he described as a delayed authorization to utilize the strategic military installation at Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. According to the President, the US had intended to launch operations against Iranian targets from the base on the very first day of hostilities. However, British authorities reportedly granted approval 48 hours later, stipulating that strikes from the base be confined exclusively to Iranian missile facilities. Trump expressed deep disappointment with the British Prime Minister over the restrictions imposed.

On Monday, Iran reportedly retaliated by targeting six American military bases across four Middle Eastern nations. In Kuwait, three US fighter jets crashed after being mistakenly engaged by local defense systems that allegedly misidentified them as hostile aircraft. US officials confirmed that all American pilots survived the incident.

Meanwhile, senior Iranian national security official Ali Larijani declared unequivocally that Tehran would not entertain negotiations with Washington, dismissing reports suggesting that Iran had sought to revive diplomatic engagement.

According to Al Jazeera, the United States and Israel have jointly struck more than 1,000 targets across Iran, deploying over 2,000 bombs within the first 30 hours of the campaign.

The humanitarian toll continues to mount. At least 555 individuals have been killed and more than 700 injured since the outbreak of hostilities on February 28. Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was reportedly killed in an aerial bombardment on the first day of fighting. Additionally, three American soldiers lost their lives on Sunday.
