US Vice President Kamala Harris Gives Her First TV Interview on Friday

US Vice President Kamala Harris gave her first TV interview on Friday (Indian time) after becoming the presidential candidate from the Democratic Party.

Her interview was taken by CNN TV journalist Dana Bash, who hosted the debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.

Harris said in the interview that she was making pancakes and frying bacon with her family when she received a call from Biden. Biden told her that he was withdrawing from the presidential race and endorsing her to take his place.

Kamala said that even after becoming a presidential candidate, her views on any issue have not changed. She said that if she becomes the President, she will include the leader of the opposition party (Republican) in her cabinet. Doing so will be good for the American people.

Trump had recently raised questions about Kamala Harris's racial identity. He had said that Kamala always described herself as belonging to India, but now she has suddenly become black. She is doing this to get votes. Kamala refused to answer this question. She said that these are the same old things. It has no meaning
