Home Minister Amit Shah reached the stage of Agenda Aaj Tak in his first TV interview after the Lok Sabha elections. This was the first interview given to any media organization after the Lok Sabha. The Home Minister also answered questions asked about the Manipur violence and said that racial violence is taking place there. These are neither terrorists nor riots are taking place on the basis of religion. Whenever racial violence has occurred in Manipur, it has lasted for one and a half years. Many times it has lasted for three years. Now the violence has reduced and the situation will improve.
On the question of the demand to change the CM in Manipur, Amit Shah said that this decision is taken by the party. If we change, then what will be the reaction after that, that also has to be taken care of because this is a conflict of the community. We are discussing all the aspects and will find a solution to it.
On the allegations against Lawrence Bishnoi of America's neighbour Canada, Amit Shah said that the Foreign Minister has said that whatever evidence you have, put it forward. We will take strict action. There is no doubt about this. Allegations are made in politics. We are waiting for the facts.
While referring to Ramnath Kovind's vision of One Nation One Election, Amit Shah was also questioned about the time frame. He said that he will not say anything about the time frame but we will definitely do it. Whatever stand we take, the Ghamandiya alliance has decided that they will oppose it. Rahul Gandhi is a very good person, if you say so, he might oppose this too.
Initially, three elections were held on this pattern. The Kerala government was dismissed. This pattern was broken from there. Then in 1971, mid-term elections were held. Instead of teaching children, teachers are busy in improving voter lists and doing election duty. Expenses are separate. Why do they protest, it is not understood. Tell us the reason for the protest.
Modiji was there in 14 as well. We lost the election in Odisha. Modiji was there in 19 as well, we lost in Andhra Pradesh. What do you think of the public? There should be trust in the public. You enjoy fighting elections and getting others to fight. If elections are held once in five years, you will not get bored. On this question, Amit Shah said that we do not fight for fun, we fight to make the party win and my party will win the elections anyway.
