Will Do 'X-ray' of Country Through Caste Census: Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that his party will 'X-ray' the country through caste-based census. 

He said that while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is 'counting the notes' it has received from tempo billionaires, his party will conduct a caste-based census to ensure equality.

Gandhi said in a post on X "Will ensure equal share for the class.”

He also shared an advertisement of the party which attacks the government on the issue of caste-based census. 

Gandhi and other Congress leaders have said that the Prime Minister should order a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) or the Enforcement Directorate (ED) into whether Adani and Ambani had sent black money to them.

Congress has also asked the Prime Minister to share his views on the socio-economic census. In its manifesto, the party has promised to conduct a nationwide socio-economic and caste-based census to assess the castes and sub-castes and their socio-economic status.
