Tesla CEO Elon Musk accused US President Donald Trump of keeping the Jeffrey Epstein files secret. Musk said that making these files public is a priority of his 'America Party'.
On Tuesday, Musk wrote on X: "If Trump doesn't release the Epstein files, how will people trust him?" A user asked if the issue was important to his party, to which Musk replied with a '100' emoji.
The Jeffrey Epstein case is related to the sexual abuse of minor girls, in which the names of many high profile people had come to light.
Musk had earlier made a sensational claim on June 5 that Donald Trump's name was included in Jeffrey Epstein's files.
Musk wrote on X - Now is the time to make a big disclosure. Donald Trump's name is in the Epstein files. That is why they have not been made public. Donald Trump, have a good day.
Another post said- Note this post for the future. The truth will come out. However, Musk later deleted that post and admitted that he had spoken too much.
Allegations of exploitation of minor girls:
Jeffrey Epstein was first arrested in Palm Beach, Florida in 2006. Epstein was convicted of soliciting prostitution and luring a minor.
However, after some bargaining he was given only 13 months of custody, with work release allowed.
A woman named Virginia Giuffre alleged in 2009 that Epstein forced her into sex trafficking when she was a minor. In 2011, Giuffre also named Britain's Prince Andrew in this case
Griffey filed a lawsuit against Epstein in 2015. It mentioned Epstein's relationships with Prince Andrew and former US President Bill Clinton.
Epstein was arrested again in 2019 on charges of sex trafficking of minors. It was Giuffre who testified against Epstein in court.
Epstein was convicted of running a prostitution ring and sexually exploiting and human trafficking a large number of women.
Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson named in Epstein's list
In January 2024, a US court made public the documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. It contained the names of high-profile people like former US President Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson and Britain's Prince Andrew.
It also mentioned Epstein's old friendship with Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew.
According to Epstein, Clinton liked underage girls. However, no allegation could be proved against Clinton.
Epstein was arrested again in 2019 on charges of sex trafficking of minors in Florida and New York. On August 10, 2019, Epstein committed suicide by hanging himself in jail. Trump was the President of the United States when he died.
Virginia Giuffre also died on April 25, 2025. Reports said that she had committed suicide. She had said that Epstein had sent her to many big personalities between 1999 and 2002. She also said that she had met Trump several times through Epstein.
Musk and Trump clashed over the Beautiful Bill:
There was a heated argument between Trump and Musk on June 5 over the Big Beautiful Bill (tax and spending bill). Earlier, while talking to the media, Trump had expressed his displeasure over Musk.
Trump had said that when we talked about cutting the law of compulsory purchase of electric vehicles, Musk started having problems. I am very disappointed with Elon. I have helped him a lot.
After this, Musk posted several tweets on his social media platform X calling Trump ungrateful. Musk said that if he was not there, Trump would have lost the election. He even talked about impeaching Trump.
After this, Trump targeted Musk on his social media platform Truth Social. He wrote- Musk went mad when I withdrew his EV mandate. Trump had threatened to end the subsidy given to Musk's company
